Welcome to goolwa camera club Welcome to goolwa camera club

The Beginning

In this South Coast Camera Club Newsletter the first meeting of the Goolwa Camera Club is mentioned.

March 2006.

About Don's Digital

2006

As Don's Digital, a not for profit, self proclaimed entity I used to write and print newsletters for the foundation club, G-Dig (Goolwa Digital Imaging  Group) that first met at the Old Council chambers.

G-Dig (Goolwa Digital Imaging Group) had to relocate and gained free hall hire when we became part of FOGP  (Friends of the Old Goolwa Police Station) along with artists of from GVAG (Goolwa Visual Arts Grouo).

This required G-Dig members to be part of the FOGP Committee with myself and G-Dig co-founder Lindy Downing and joint Secretary at one stage.  I produced and distributed FOGP Newsletters, as was my wont, and interest.

G-Dig members often sat at exhibitions at Old Goolwa Police Station Exhibitions including our own photo exhibitions.

Later we left OGPS for our present Scout Hall venuaswith GVAG as part of GVAG (Goolwa Visual Arts Group.)).

Our break from GCAV and being incorporated as GCC became a happy full circle evolution to our present situation in which I have been an active participant in this progression since 2006.

Thank you

Don Cannan
